Limni Lake

Limni Lake is located in Zigana Village of Torul district. The lake, which is 45 km from Gümüşhane city center and 5 km from Zigana Tourism Center, was granted the status of -A- type recreation area by the Ministry of Forestry in 2004. The area is suitable for picnic and camping purposes.

There are various social facilities as social and premise facilities (entrance control cabin, parking lot, buffet, dishwashing area, toilet, pergola, picnic stove, water tank, water supply line). The dominant tree species in the area are Scots pine and spruce. In certain seasons of the year, it is possible to come across wild animals such as bear, fox, gazelle and roe deer in the area.
