Ikizevler City Museum
Gümüşhane Museum was established in 1998 by expropriating two mansions next to each other, belonging to Erol Karabiber and İbrahim Ömürdağ, dating back to 1920, and restoring them between 2004-2006. The museum building, located approximately 1 km north of the city center, has three floors including the attic. In its garden, stone artifacts from various periods from ancient cities such as Satala Ancient City and Süleymaniye Neighborhood within the borders of Gümüşhane province are exhibited. These artifacts consist of sarcophagi, columns and column capitals, tomb steles, Islamic tombstones, steles with inscriptions and reliefs, and various architectural pieces.
The museum halls consist of 3 sections for display.
