Yeniyol Village Tohumoglu Arch Bridge

It is located in Tohumoğlu Mevkii of Yeniyol Village, Gümüşhane Center, on the Harşit Stream. The bridge measures 64.70 m x 5.11 meters and was built with two eyes and pointed arches. The arch and railings are cut stone and the other parts are rubble stone. The slab is stepped. In front of the foot in the stream bed, there is a “V” shaped flood slit in the upstream direction and a semicircular heel in the downstream direction. Probably the harpushta or flat pavement was made to slope to both sides and inward during the repairs. It is unique with this feature.
