Örümcek Forests

Örümcek Forests are located within the borders of Kürtün District and are 60 km away from the city center. The area where the trees are located can be reached by road. Örümcek Forests contain the highest fir trees in Europe (61.5 m) and the tallest spruces in Turkey (57.6 m). The region, which is called Spider Forests due to its dense vegetation, is one of the places to be seen in Gümüşhane with its waterfalls, clean air and unique landscape.
