Taşköprü Plateau

Taşköprü Plateau, located within the borders of Dumanlı village in Yağmurdere sub-district, is approximately 50 km from the city center. The plateau can be reached from Gümüşhane-Yağmurdere road route. Approximately 40 km of the 50 km road is asphalt and the remaining 10 km is stabilized.

The plateau, where accommodation facilities consisting of privately owned hotels and bungalow-type houses are available, is open to daily tourism and is quite suitable for eating and drinking facilities. There are facilities such as trout facilities, markets, butchers, cafes, bakeries, restaurants, greengrocers, tea gardens, PTT branch, mosque, parking lot, fuel station, football field, auto repair shop.

Within the borders of the plateau, there are places that can be used as a track area for grass and snow skiing. The natural beauties, historical ruins, rich flora and fauna of the plateau and its surroundings have very high values for photo safari, video safari and botanical tourism.
